Black and Blue 6 is just around the corner and I could not be more excited! After watching some of the best roller derby the nation has to offer this weekend (Big Ups to Gotham), I am ready for some in your face action. This year’s charity bout proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen foundation, I can not think of a better charity to donate to. True to Black and Blue’s roots, the league will be split into two teams. Team Black with top bidding guest Captain Tammie Konicki, vs Team Blue with top bidding Guest Captain Doug McCutcheon.

Normally it is pretty easy for me to figure out who will win these charity bouts but this year, not a freaking chance. The teams are ginormous, and it will boil down to how teams groove together, and how the vets are played. Though Team Blue suffered a terrible hit, shortly after the teams were annonced; “The Strangler” for Team Black decided to wipe out “Farrah Moans”. With Team Blue down one of the most impressive jammers this league has ever birthed, Team Black feels they now hold the edge.

Again true to form will be the always exciting Full Contact Musical Chairs, really the name speaks for itself. This is a right of passage for freshmeat, and a place where friends quickly become enemies! This year I will not be betting on anyone to win, every year I use my insider trading tips, drop butt loads of money on my horse (no offense ladies) and lose my ass of everytime! Last year I only lost 60 bucks, but that money could be better spent as charity than in WC pockets (that flipping Jerk)!

So expect to see Turn Two in their normal spots (Eddie almost freaked out last time I didn’t sit there), getting wreckless as usual. Best of luck to both teams, get rowdy, have lots of fun, and hit her like you hate her!
