The Burning River All-Stars are just days away from one of their toughest battles yet. The Cincinnati RollerGirls are some of the toughest skaters in their WFTDA Division. In a few of their more recent bouts against Grand Raggidy (whom we struggled as a team against) they pulled out a strong victory; when they played Fort Wayne, they put on an impressive workshop. This bout will test every attribute of every skater on the Burning River All-Stars; this will show if they can be as great as a team as they are as individual skaters.
It will certainly be interesting to see the difference in dynamics for our (and their) 2009 Travel Team. Though we have not made many extravagant changes; often subtle changes can make a world of difference. Having a few extra Jammers (Kilustrator and Ida Bitter) will help us to utilize some of our stronger Jammer/Blocker skaters into key defensive positions. I have hopes that Soul Eater will be back for this match, but I only want to see her playing if she is back to 100%, we cannot afford to have her be out for the April 28th bout (Go Pin-Ups, l00k I did it!). As promised (to Professor Booty and Ivanna Destroya) Turn 2 will be staying the night in Cinci (time to get rowdy), we will be making hotel accommodations shortly. Best of luck to all skaters, we will see you there!

Aww thanks boys! Unfortunately I will not be out on the track this Saturday, but my broken ribs are healing up very nicely and I hope to be back to regular contact next week. This will be the first Burning River All-Stars bout, from the travel team’s inception, that I will have to enjoy from the audience, but the good news is that I will be able to sit in Turn 2!
I was on the roster the first time we played and beat Cincinnati, which was mostly their B team skaters, and we all have been waiting to have a chance to play their A team. It is going to be a big challenge, but we have a lot of talent on the All-Stars.
Not only will we have the new additions of E. Gargiulo (the skater formerly known as Ida Bitter) and The Killustrator, but this will also be the All-Star debut of Slambassador and Primp Daddy! Congrats and good luck ladies!
Go All-Stars!!!!!!!!

I think I remember you sneaking out of the after-party to drive home, and not stay the night. Sneaky. Thanks for coming down though and bringing the Cleveland “cheering” with you.
