define successful…. I’ve taken leg whips at practice. It’s pretty easy for both parties to not faceplant or anything…. but the jammer doesn’t get a whole lot of momentum off it.

…I define successful as jammer propelling forward without either party falling. This is the easiest twenty federal reserve notes you could obtain (as long as you are first).
Destroya says: Legs whips are overrated and lame!
…When I think of the body mechanics involved in this move, I see such wonderful attributes of a terrific skater. One must consider the fact that the leg muscle is much more powerful than one’s arm; imagine being whipped by an arm 3 to 4 times larger than yours. If this could become a common technique in your arsenal, this could greatly improve your teams chances of greatness! I will say that this move is not always going to be the best choice; but imagine the times when it could be, think of the reach you can get from your leg opposed to your arm, the power that can be generated, and the speed that could be gained if perfected.
I’m just a crazy guy who sits at turn two trying to have fun, and hear the crowd go crazy!
